MECHANICAL TURNER / MANCHESTER / UP TO £13.50 PER HOUR + BENEFITS
Our client has an exciting new opportunity for an experienced Mechanical Turner to join the organisation.

They are a Manchester based electro-mechanical repair facility, serving the North-West’s rotating plant and equipment. They are looking for a highly motivated Mechanical Turner – this position would ideally suit a mechanical machinist (lathe, milling, drilling etc).

The successful Mechanical Turner can expect:

Key Responsibilities:

• Shaft repairs, housing repairs, metal spraying, welding
• Dismantling and assembly
• General bench fitting duties
• Measuring
• Assess and evaluate rotating machines
• Test components
• Balancing skills an advantage

Skills & Experience Required:

• Degree or relevant qualifications in Mechanical Engineering - Desirable
• Previous experience in a similar role
• Use of calipers, verniers etc
• Dismantle and repair of rotating machines
• Enthusiastic ability
• Driving Licence
