HR MANAGER / RUNCORN / UP TO £40,000 & GREAT BENEFITS
Brand-new opportunity for an experienced HR Manager to join a fantastic team of people, working in our offices based in Runcorn with excellent pay and benefits package.

Our client is a highly successful client-focused business and are one of the market leaders in Debt Collection and High Court Enforcement, with the business showcased on the popular Channel 5 television series “Can’t Pay, We’ll Take It Away”.

Key Responsibilities of the HR Manager:

  • Develop, implement and be accountable for delivering HR strategies.
  • Work closely with the Senior Management Team to increase levels of employee engagement.
  • Bridge management and employee relations by addressing demands, grievances, or other issues.
  • Support group management in managing the recruitment process, developing relevant job descriptions, identifying skill requirements and screening applicants.
  • Support current and future business needs through development, engagement, motivation, and retention of employees.
  • Nurture a positive working environment.
  • Report to management and provide decision support through HR metrics.
  • Ensure legal compliance throughout in line with ACAS best practice and UK employment law.

Skills & Experience required:

  • Proven experience as HR Manager, responsible for all activities throughout the employee life cycle.
  • Experience with Disciplinaries, Performance and Probation strategies.
  • Knowledge and management of all leave types.
  • HR generalist experience, demonstrating exposure to flexible working applications, right to work, recruitment and SOSR dismissals.
  • People oriented.
  • Knowledge of HR systems and databases, desirable however, not essential.
  • Excellent active listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Competence to build and effectively manage interpersonal relationships at all levels of the Business.
  • In-depth knowledge of employment law and HR best practices.
